Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to all purchases of original works via this website between Luis Meyer (the “Seller”) and consumers.

2. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of works is not a binding offer. By submitting your order you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded with our confirmation email, which also contains the bank details for payment. Each work is unique and can only be sold once. After your order the work is reserved for you for7 days; if payment does not arrive within that period, it is released again.

3. Prices and shipping

All prices are final prices in euros. Shipping costs are shown before completing the purchase: €15 within Germany, €35 within the EU, pick-up by arrangement free of charge.

No VAT is shown pursuant to § 19 UStG (German small business scheme).

4. Payment

Payment is by bank transfer in advance only, to the account stated in our confirmation email. No payment service provider is involved and card payment is not offered. Please quote the reference given so that we can match your payment. The purchase price is due immediately.

5. Delivery

Shipping takes place within 14 days of receipt of payment to the delivery address provided and exclusively with DHL, within Germany as well as within the EU. For the German transport leg GoGreen Plus is included: DHL reduces greenhouse gas emissions directly within its own network and allocates that reduction to the individual shipment. Within Germany delivery normally takes a few working days after the payment arrives; within the EU it takes longer.

Each work is an original. It is packed for transport with corner protection and a rigid outer carton and shipped insured.

We inform you by email at every step: order confirmation, receipt of payment, dispatch with the DHL tracking number, and a note once the parcel has been delivered.

For pick-up at the studio we arrange place and time by email; the shipping provisions do not apply in that case. For consumers the Seller bears the shipping risk.

6. Withdrawal and warranty

The statutory right of withdrawal (see Right of Withdrawal) and the statutory warranty apply.

7. Copyright

The purchase transfers ownership of the physical work, not the copyright. Reproduction or commercial use requires the artist’s consent.

8. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
